Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of RecordVanta, an independent educational and organizational service. By creating an account or starting a membership you agree to them. Counsel is finalizing this text; the approved version will replace this draft before public launch.

1. What RecordVanta is

RecordVanta provides informational and educational technology that helps you understand, organize and prepare your own medical and supporting records. It does not provide medical or legal advice, does not diagnose or treat any condition, and does not determine service connection, disability ratings, eligibility or claim outcomes.

2. Membership

  • Membership is billed monthly at the price shown when you join and renews automatically each month until you cancel.
  • You can cancel at any time from your account. Cancellation stops future renewals; the current month remains available until its end date.
  • Renewal and cancellation disclosures are presented and accepted before any payment is taken.

3. Your account

  • Keep your sign-in credentials private and tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter. RecordVanta organizes what you provide; it does not verify records against their sources.

4. Acceptable use

Use RecordVanta only for your own records or records you are authorized to manage. Do not upload another person's health information without authority, attempt to access other members' data, or use the service to prepare false or exaggerated statements.

5. Premium services

The Comprehensive Record Review is a separate service with its own agreement, scope statement and payment terms, presented before purchase. Nothing in the membership terms entitles a member to the review.

6. Changes and termination

We may update these terms with notice inside the service. We may suspend or end an account that violates these terms. You may close your account at any time and request export or deletion of your data from the privacy settings.
