FAQ

Questions people ask before joining

Draft · RecordVanta is in a pre-launch pilot. These answers describe the membership as it launches; member accounts and billing open with the pilot, and the Comprehensive Record Review is not yet available to order.. This text is a working version and may change before launch.

What is RecordVanta?

An independent educational and organizational service for veterans. It helps you understand your medical records, organize your documentation and prepare informed questions for the next step. It is not medical or legal advice.

Is RecordVanta part of the VA?

No. RecordVanta is not the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and is not affiliated with or endorsed by VA. We link to official VA resources and label them clearly.

What does the monthly membership include?

A personalized onboarding pathway, medical-record education, a structured document library, condition workspaces and timelines, evidence organization tools, DBQ and C&P education, a personal journal with preparation tools, claim-journey and decision education, and monthly learning content and resource updates.

Can I cancel?

Yes. Membership renews monthly and you can cancel anytime from your account. Terms, renewal and refund details are published on the legal pages.

What is the Comprehensive Record Review?

A separate premium service for members who want a human reviewer to work through the records they have organized and return a structured written summary, timeline and questions. Its exact scope is being finalized with counsel, and it is not yet available to order.

Does RecordVanta file claims or represent me?

No. RecordVanta does not prepare, file or present claims and does not act as your representative. For individualized representation, VA-accredited representatives, agents and attorneys are the right path, and we link to the official locator.

Will my medical records be stored?

At launch, members inventory their records: what they have, what they have requested and what is missing. File uploads are off until the privacy framework for them is complete, and when they arrive they will be private, encrypted and deletable by you.

Who can see my information?

You. Staff access is limited, logged and only with your explicit, time-limited consent. Emails and notifications carry counts and reminders, never the content of your records.

I need help right now. Where do I go?

If you are in crisis, call the Veterans Crisis Line: dial 988, then press 1. RecordVanta is not an emergency service.
